Wardrobe Guide

Here are a few tips to ease the outfit preparation for your photography session.

Color Matters:

Be sure to keep two colors as the main palette.

These colors should work together and complement each other. For example:

Blush & Cream

Olive Green & Ivory

Grey & Blush

White & Sage

Blue & Yellow

Avoid Distracting Patterns and Logos:

It's best to stick to solid colors. Logos and graphic t-shirts are too distracting and will take away the focus in the photos. Same thing as to big patterns. If you must wear a pattern, try to limit it to one person and the remaining members wear solid colors.

To make things interesting you can add texture to the clothes. Think of wearing something with embroidery, eyelet details, ruffles, pleating or even tulle.

For the Ladies:

Don't be afraid to wear something more dressy! You will want to wear something that is figure fitting. An A-line dress, that hugs the waist and the bottom flares, or a skirt.

For the Gentlemen:

Go dressier than your average day attire. A button down shirt or polo will elevate the look. To complete your look pair a nice top with khakis, chinos, corduroy pants, or slim fit trousers.
